Some turning data of OSNA-Cu 58®: For turning OSNA-Cu 58®, the same high-speed steels and tools in CNC-controlled automatic lathes can be used as for machining brass. The use of hard metal instead of self-hardening steel increases tool life and allows a considerably higher cutting speed. However, if the surface of the part has to be of high quality, self-hardening steel is preferred. |
